Unilever Future Leaders Programme - Marketing
This 3-year Graduate Programme is designed to prepare Unilever's Future Leaders (UFL) by giving them challenging jobs/roles that prepare them for business leadership roles. The Programme encompasses rotations within and across functions in an accelerated learning environment. This includes international stints, extended leadership contact, formal training and professional development.During your programme, your line manager will formally appraise your performance at regular intervals and provide feedback and coaching to build on your key strengths and development areas. What will I be doing?You will be constantly deepening the already expert knowledge of our brands and the people who use them. You'll use this level of insight to help develop our products' personalities and bring them to life. That could mean working on the launch of a new ice cream, undertaking research on the latest trends in hair care, looking at sponsorship opportunities or planning a digital campaign for one of our brands. Our people have the opportunity to make a big impact every day on a local level, across Europe and the globe.What do we look for?Creative flair will see you go far, but marketing is commercially focused and demands strong business skills to actually make things happen. It takes a deep sense of logic, ambition, organisational and analytical skills, a head for figures and great instincts.Qualifications:We look for minimum of a 2.1 degree from any disciplineWhat will the programme involve?Over three years you will cover up to three placements.During your brand-building placements you will get exposure to commercial marketing and have the opportunity to work with iconic brands like Dove, Persil, Sure and Marmite managing brand mixes across all their elements.You may also get the chance to work with our brand development teams on strategy, real innovation and advertising development at a global or regional level.You will get hands-on exposure to Customer Management (Sales), working in the field to build appreciation for how our sales and merchandising teams bring our products to life on the shelf.Your rotations could be based at different business units across Europe and you will need to be flexible about where you are based during your time on the scheme.Summer and Industrial PlacementsOn a summer or industrial placement within marketing, you will carry out just one role during the placement.
