This 3-year Graduate Programme is designed to prepare Unilever's Future Leaders (UFL) by giving them challenging jobs/roles that prepare them for business leadership roles. The Programme encompasses rotations within and across functions in an accelerated learning environment. This includes international stints, extended leadership contact, formal training and professional development.During your programme, your line manager will formally appraise your performance at regular intervals and provide feedback and coaching to build on your key strengths and development areas. The breadth and depth of influence this function has makes it key to how we realise our vision to build a brighter future for our world.For more detailed information about this function please download our "Supply Chain Management" online brochure.What will I be doing?You could be finding a new way to get 12,000 litres of ice cream across the desert without it melting; transforming the way the world's largest spreads factory operates; or designing a more efficient distribution network to enable us to store and deliver our products sustainably to our customers. There's always a new challenge to tackle. Our people have the opportunity to make a big impact every day on a local level, across Europe and the world.What do we look for?Whichever area you work in - Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing or Logistics - you'll need to be ambitious, an excellent analytical thinker with a drive for getting things done and a real talent for delivering through others. While we are open to applications from all disciplines, typically (but not exclusively) a background in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Science, Maths, Finance or Business can be an advantage.Qualifications:We look for minimum of a 2.1 degree from any discipline.What will the programme involve?Over three years you will cover at least three placements to provide experience in key areas:The Planning team (either based at Head Office, a factory, or the European Supply Chain Company - based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland).A customer service role at Head Office working directly with our external retail customers.A supervisory placement (leading a production team in one of our factories).A project role which will see you take on a variety of challenges.Your rotations could be based at different business units across Europe and you will need to be flexible about where you are based during your time on the schemeSummer and Industrial placementsOn a summer or industrial placement in Supply Chain Management, you will carry out just one role during your placement.
