We are working with a leading national charity to recruit a Philanthropy Manager to innovatively manage the charitys major donor program and drive the major donor fundraising activity, attracting new supporters and partnerships to the charity, whilst maintaining their loyal supporter base.The CharityA leading national disability, delivering disability services, community projects, education and training resources that promote inclusion and wellbeing. They believe in providing a great working environment and a range of benefits and ensure that you have time to enjoy your life outside of work by offering generous annual leave entitlementThe RoleThis role is supported where needed by the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships as well as staff across the organisation to jointly reinforce relationships and create multiple and effective contact points for all major donors.Work with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and implement strategic plans for major donor fundraising, in line with the overarching fundraising and organisational strategies. To develop and deliver the major donor operating plan, pipelining current and new funders in a targeted approach to contribute to the achievement of the teams income targets.Manage a portfolio of major donor partnerships across the charity and provide co-ordination for major donor activity local to the charitys services. Oversee the ethical prospect research of potential new funders, in line with GDPR recommendations, including establishing effective tools, processes and systems to maximise fundraising potential. Develop, write and deliver innovative and creative proposals for funding, in line with the charitys strategic aims. Relationship manage a portfolio of funders, including representing fundraising on project visits, and set up meetings with the CEO, Assistant Director of Fundraising and other charity employees as appropriate. Have responsibility for tracking and monitoring the major donor income and expenditure budget, including key performance indicator reporting.
