My client is one of the most forward thinking, innovative technology firms looking to increase their worldwide footprint. They are currently building out their Cyber Security capability meaning a very exciting time for the team. My client are looking for a Cyber Security Administrator to be based out of their London Headquarters and are happy to offer an excellent base salary, leading benefits and working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • To administer the corporate identity and access levels granted to employees, contractors and sub-contractors
  • Apply the information security strategy and ensure that there is quantifiable progress in applying the strategy
  • Review and contribute to information security standards and policies
  • Monitor and enforce information security standards and technologies for all the firms systems and infrastructure
  • Contribute to and enforce identity lifecycle management processes
  • Perform regular identity audits to ensure that no dormant identities or identities with unsuitable levels of access exist
  • Ensure all privacy and GDPR guidelines are applied at an Identity level
  • Liaise with the Data architect to ensure sensitive data access is mapped to the appropriate access role
  • Liaise with the DPO on any enquiries or incidents related to sensitive data
  • Liaise with database administrators to ensure that sensitive data is accessed appropriately
  • Liaise with 3 rd parties that may store sensitive data, ensuring that the data is accessed appropriately
  • Ensure that the Active Directory structure is well maintained and kept up to date with the evolving organizational structure
  • Ensure all agreed security standards, processes and practices set by the CISO are adhered to
  • Mitigate known security risks and avoid the avoidable incidents and breaches

Requirements:

  • An individual with a high attention to detail to ensure a corporate identity and any associated 3 rd party tool identities are not maliciously exploited
  • Ability to operate within an environment in that requires collaboration with other teams for example infrastructure, operations or software teams
  • An individual who can operate effectively within a matrix organization in which some of his/her areas of responsibility or accountability would need to be delivered via influence and relationships rather than all under their control (e.g. people team, pay roll and the engineering function)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business/Accounting or related field/related experience
  • Previous experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Security Incident response experience
  • Strong technical skills relevant to Information Security such as data encryption, secure data transmission, secure data consumption and risk analysis
  • Familiarity with Information Security industry standards/best practices and relevant regulations (e.g. PCI DSS, SOX, NIST, ISO, CobiT)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
