The VIP Experience / Station Manager Opportunity:

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and driven candidate to lead our Gatwick team to further enhance the performance and culture of this exceptional base. As Station Manager for Gatwick we want you to come into the role with ideas and tenacity to drive the future growth of our Elite Class product, in addition to maximizing profitability and exceptional service to our GA customers with the slots we have available. 

Here are some of the main responsibilities for this role…

+ Lead the team to offer exceptional service to all customers and crew 
+ Work with the Gatwick team and Senior Management to drive continued non-organic growth of the Elite Class product 
+ Instil a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and reward for performance 
+ Work with business partners to track key business metrics including; safety, service, financial and employee engagement 
+ Alongside the finance team propose budgets and forecasts for the station 
+ Ensure that safety, quality, environment and security standards are always met
+ Implement any changes of Airport Security or airside pass requirements for both staff and vehicles.
+ Lead the recruitment, training, development and management of employees to create a high performing team delivering word class customer service
+ Create a culture of ‘one team' that is fun, respectful of others/procedures we work to and wants to continually achieve the best. 
+ Attend regular meetings with the Airport and control authorities to ensure the business remains compliant with all airport policies and regulations. 

What are we looking for? 

Do you have experience in a General Aviation, VIP customer service capacity (e.g. 5 start hotel) or are you an exceptional leader of people? Then we want to hear from you. 

You must have proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, in particular with airport authorities, suppliers or customers. Experience in team leadership and development is desirable. And good communication skills are a must. You will have the ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a face paced environment. You will be working in a small team, therefore flexibility to step onto shift in an emergency to service customers is essential. 

The role is Monday - Friday standard business hours but as a leader you will need to be prepared to step in for emergencies or provide cover
