Join this award-winning company as an Events Sales Executive!

Represent, promote & sell 7 central London venues to the corporate markets as well as industry agents. 40 hours a week (9am-5.30pm or as required). Reporting to Director of Sales.

Package:
- Competitive starting salary (£21k-24k + up to £3k OTE), subject to experience & reviewed.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively representing, promoting & selling venues for meetings & events.
- Maintaining & developing relationships with existing clients via meetings, proactive telephone calls & emails.
- Arranging & carrying out site visits & visiting potential clients for new business as appropriate.
- Representing the company at awards, trade exhibitions, events & networking occasions.
- Identifying venue improvements or new packages by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, & competitors.
- Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects & evaluating their position in the industry; researching & analysing sales options.
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed agreed Key Performance Indicators & targets.
- Preparing weekly sales activity reports to be sent to Director of Sales & CEO.
- Ensuring effective internal communications both within the Sales Team, Diary Team, Operations Team & across the organization.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed such as operational assistance where required.
- Updating special offers on online platforms & suggesting ideas for Marketing such as contributions for Social Media promotion.

The ideal candidate should have:
- Have a target driven mentality with the desire to win & retain business.
- Be articulate & have a proactive approach to sales.
- Strong administrative & coordination skills, be highly-organised with exceptional time management.
- Team player, committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Self-motivated, passionate about sales & hospitality in events & smartly presented.
- Degree qualification & ability to drive are an advantage.
- Experience of NFS Rendez-Vous System an advantage.

Some experience of working in the hospitality, event, venue, sales or catering sector, holding a sales/coordinating related position for approximately 1 year, ideally London based is advantageous but not essential.
