Reporting to: Managing DirectorOverview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting UNILAD in their expansion into new markets and sectors geographically, and conceptually. We are currently moving into different markets which include, but not limited to, live video, bringing TV formats online, sports and entertainments rights, female-focused markets, and the USA. As our global activities grow rapidly, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in the company's continued success. Therefore, we need a forward thinking, driven individual who has original ideas and a good grasp of the media industry to come in and take this role on. Responsibilities: To identify new commercial business opportunities for UNILAD to pursueFormulate, develop and execute business strategies that ensure UNILAD is a successful entrant into multiple marketsGrow and take ownership of a wide network to develop and maintain long-term relationships with business partnersCreate proposals, presentations and other collateral for potential new business Report directly to the CEO and wider senior managementRepresent and advocate the UNILAD brand at all times. Requirements: Proven experience of developing and executing a commercial business model from scratchProven ability to secure commercial partnerships in-line with business objectivesIndustry related background - Publishing, Media, Online, Entertainment, EventsStrong understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc)Highly personable with a strong ability to network and build/maintain strong relationshipsA proactive and independent thinkerDegree educated is preferred but not essential.SkillsSales, Business Development, Social Media, Publishing, Client Relationship Management, Commercial Partnerships, Content PublishingSectors
