We are recruiting a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to lead the team at a leading national charity at an exciting time as they continue to invest in the fundraising team to help deliver and sustain their ambitious growth. You will innovatively lead the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team in the strategic development and implementation of corporate partnerships, trusts/foundations, major donor fundraising as well as supporting significant capital projects. Start date October- November 2017 The CharityThe successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the charity where they are investing into the fundraising team to deliver and sustain our ambitious growth aspirations of increasing voluntary income by 50% over the next four years. Start date October - November 2017.Responsibility for the development and implementation of the philanthropy and partnerships fundraising strategy and operating plans, ensuring ambitious income targets are achieved for this area of fundraising. Work as a senior member of the fundraising leadership team, critically involved in driving the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy in line with the Charitys ethos, and relationship managing key stakeholders. Lead and manage the P&P team, developing a high performing team that is appropriately skilled to grow the impact of corporate partnerships, trusts/foundations and major donor fundraising in delivering the ambitious income and performance targets.Plan and manage capital appeals and restricted funding projects creating excellent collaboration across teams, developing clear cases of support, maintaining robust pipelines and meeting SMART objectives. Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of trustees, key supporters, senior staff, the President and Patrons in helping secure support from trusts/foundations, corporates and major donors. Ensure all staff receive timely review meetings, appraisals, and are provided with appropriate training and development opportunities. The CandidateHave experience of fundraising through at least two of the following areas corporate, trusts/foundations and major donors.Able to identify opportunities which develop connections and linkages between the three core areas.Able to demonstrate an understanding of fundraising best practice and new initiatives concerning at least two of the following areas fundraising from corporates, trusts/foundations and major donors.Direct staff management experience within a fundraising context Key relationship development leading to funding.Deomstatable success in at least two of the following areas corporate, trusts/foundations and major donor fundraising and implementing strategies for these sources of income Effective management and leadership, developing, leading, monitoring and reviewing strategies Financial management and budgeting.
