JOB TITLE: Carer / Care Assistant

SALARY & BENEFITS: Living wage + additional 35p for nights + 50p for weekends

WORKING HOURS: Full Time (Nights and Days available)

THE COMPANY: Our clients is a Dementia Specialist Residential Home in Littlehampton that is committed to providing high quality training for their staff. They are a forward thinking Home providing an exciting dementia friendly environment with high quality dementia care. The Home has a lovely family atmosphere with a warm, friendly feel and has been owned by the same family for the last 10 years.

They now seek reliable, honest, hardworking individuals to join their existing experienced team.

THE ROLE: As a Carer / Care Assistant you will responsible to provide companionship to residents and to cater to a range of individual care needs. You will socialise, engage and build effective relationships with the residents as well as assisting with any day-to-day personal living requirements. You will actively contribute as a team member towards delivering high quality support and assistance as needed to meet the clients' needs.

THE CANDIDATE: As a Carer / Care Assistant you must be a naturally caring and empathetic person who is team player and someone who enjoys helping others. Previous experience and qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care would be an advantage however is not essential as for the right candidate full training is provided. You must be able to easily commute to Littlehampton, be confident and someone who can take a flexible approach to their working days.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Carer / Care Assistants role in Littlehampton, West Sussex :-

- Preferred to have previous experience in a similar role, related qualifications in Health & Social care or must be committed to working towards and obtaining this

- Must live within commutable distance to Littlehampton, West Sussex

- Must be passionate about helping people and have the motivation to develop within this role

- Must be familiar with computers
