As the Marketing Executive, you will be reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager, ensuring that the annual marketing communications plan is delivered to engage with key consumer groups through creating tailored offline content across Ascot's own channels and relevant external platforms.

You will be a custodian to the Ascot brand and its sub-brands, policing and supporting both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we deliver a consistent and defined brand identity across all customer touch-points including design and tone of voice.

You will get the opportunity to support the development of new Ascot sub-brands. For example, a new hospitality brand was launched in 2017 and a new betting brand will be launched in 2018.

This position will allow you to create innovative and aspirational sales and marketing collateral. You will work closely with the Artworkers, Senior Content Marketing Manager, Consumer PR Manager, Digital Editor and insights resource to create collateral for the following areas:

- Corporate (annual brochure, tickets, badges, letterheads, business cards)
- Publishing - Racecards and Royal Ascot Magazine
- Fine dining - annual boxes, Ascot Raceday packages and Royal Ascot packages
- Restaurants, bars and concessions
- Memberships
- Sponsorship
- Royal Enclosure
- Conferencing and Events
- Ascot's new betting brand

You will oversee the production process for all off-line collateral including briefing designers and production partners, copywriting, approvals and managing external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will get the opportunity to participate in curating, copywriting, and producing Ascot's year-round e-newsletter plan.

This position will also grant responsibility over the delivery of marketing imagery which supports our engagement, sales and brand objectives, for example managing and producing the graphics for Ascot TV for all racedays.

You will ensure that all campaigns are measured and ROI reported to ensure future development and build an accessible archive of all marketing material, including brochures and racecards.


The ideal candidate for this position would have a marketing qualification to degree standard and a minimum of three to four years experience in a marketing role.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of marketing communications and brand management, and ideally have experience of working with Design and production agencies.

You will have a track record of exceptional achievement in delivering results and be able to demonstrate creativity and excellence in content creation with a strong understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends a distinct advantage.

Additionally you will need to provide evidence of a resilient, tenacious and action orientated approach, focused on achieving successful outcomes whilst building and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.

An interest in sport would be advantageous, especially racing.
