You are passionate about helping clients solve their problems on a large scale, and recognise that there's a talent shortage in tech that needs solving.You might have done enterprise sales in tech or recruitment, or some other form of complex, large-scale sales with multiple decision-makers; you might have sold software consultancy, especially to the financial sector; you might have landed some big clients because you recognised what they needed, not what they wanted. You care about delivering an excellent service, rather than pushing a product, and you want to support the team around you to excel as well.Key ResponsibilitiesReviewing, processing and managing all applications and enquiries to join Makers Academy as a student.One of the first points of contact at Makers Academy for the student and be able to answer any of their questions with confidence.Be able to provide continuous support to everyone who is taking the journey with us to learn to codeVetting applications and ensuring that the quality of people coming into our community is always increasing.Interviewing / calling and mentoring applicants through an ever changing Onboarding process.The friendly voice on the end of the phone to help any incoming enquiriesReviewing some code (we'll train you!) with applicants and understanding if they have the 'Maker-mindset'Helping our community make the most of what we have to offer.Planning & forecasting on how to grow the numbers of paying customers every 4 weeks.Ensuring we're collecting the right data at the right timeCo-ordinating with other teams across the business to ensure we're going in the right directionLooking forward and having projections that match the requirements from the businessPerks And Benefits Working in a company that's pushing the limits of self-management, experimenting with which company structure is best for the information age and beyond;Growing as a person, by learning radical transparency, vulnerability, the growth mindset, emotional intelligence, 'non-violent communication', hard truths about yourself, and how to give and receive feedback honestly and productively;Able to do yoga twice a week and guided meditation every day;Playing all sorts of board games, card games, video games, table tennis and Nerf wars;Working in the hammock, on the bean bags or sofa;Surrounded by a diverse group of incredibly smart, motivated people, who all really care about doing the very best they can for our students, for our hiring partners and for each other.Some other skills that would nice to have..You'll be speaking and emailing a lot of people - having experience in this would be amazing.There's a lot of people trying to join our course - being super organised is a skill that's your best friendWe use GrooveHQ, a CRM and a bunch of tech to help us be efficient - any experience in Customer Support wouldn't go amissIt would be great if you had at least some understanding of tech / tech education / the tech industry???
