We have a fantastic work environment that enthusiastically encourages creativity, risk-taking, growth and autonomy: you will be a great fit if you love to get stuck in, learn new things at speed and get a kick out of making things better.As our front end software engineer, you'll be collaborate on building and maintaining the user-facing areas of the City Pantry platform - customer interfaces, administration backends, vendor tooling, operations monitoring, etc. From the first drafts of new features to shipping for our users, you'll be on the frontline of the front end solution. You'll have a say in the design and architecture of the back end as well - experience on both ends is essential.Working with us as our Senior Front End Engineer, you will:Design, develop and deliver new features for our front end solutionIntegrate front end clients with our core API and related servicesIdentify requirements and shape user stories, translating into both outstanding code and robust testsMaintain and evolve our technology infrastructureRefine processes to improve the developer experienceContribute and adhere to coding standards, best practices, and proceduresBuild high quality, usable and beautiful user interface componentsEngage with the following tech:Angular (4+), AngularJSJavaScript, TypescriptJasmine, Sinon, Karma, and other testing toolsHTML, CSS, SassWe do what we say we will. Here's what we'll need from you:Demonstrable, solid experience in software development, architecture and designMastery of Angular and 'classic' AngularJSInnate understanding of HTTP and RESTful design principlesA keen, experienced eye for both detail and designConsummate experience with unit test and automated end to end testingFlawless communicationPrevious back end experience and/or knowledge of GCP/AWS is beneficialHere's what you can expect from us.
