Starting salary GBP17,495 - plus GBP1,000 Market Supplement
As an administrative/process clerk within the Surrey Safety Camera Unit, y ou will be a strong team player responsible for the efficient processing of offences detected by safety cameras.
The role involves responding to enquiries from the public and maintaining vital police records and databases that could later be used as evidence in court.
Skills & Experience
This role will require excellent communication skills to deal with the public in a courteous manner, in writing or by telephone. You will have experience in the use of computer databases for administrative purposes and will have a methodical mind to ensure that statements and prosecution files are compiled accurately, and that statutory forms are despatched on time.
You will be able to work in a calm and professional manner to meet strict deadlines, and will be willing to undertake training to become proficient in the use of the departmental computer systems, printing and mailing technology.
