We are seeking a confident, experienced, creative and enthusiastic fundraiser to unlock a thus far relatively untapped mid value donor segment, helping us to grow an increasingly successful GBP1.3M major giving programme and deliver significant income to meet new and ambitious financial targets. World Jewish Relief is the UK Jewish community's humanitarian agency. We tackle poverty among the world's most vulnerable Jewish communities and beyond. With a portfolio of over 100 projects across 18 countries, we provide effective interventions through trusted local partners, enabling individuals and communities to support themselves. We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic fundraiser to work in our ambitious and successful major giving team. With a focus on growing our mid value to major donor segments, the post holder will need to be bold and determined, and relish the opportunity to tackle new challenges in order to help us maximise crucial income generation in this area. He or she will be at the forefront of research, relationship-building and the solicitation of gifts, as well as taking responsibility for donor care and communication. This post is key to helping us deliver income in support of vital projects, including programmes to support elderly vulnerable Jews living in Eastern Europe; pioneering work supporting refugees in Greece, Turkey and the UK and crucial employment and livelihoods work across Eastern Europe and in Uganda, Rwanda and Nepal. Interviews will be held on the 27th and 28th September with 2nd interviews taking place on the 2nd October. World Jewish Relief is committed to equal opportunities and we welcome applications from all who believe they fit the essential requirements of the role.
