The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields (CSTM) aims to provide advice and services that help homeless people in London avoid, move away from and stay off the streets. CSTM is looking to recruit two permanent part-time Supported Housing Officers to work 21 Hours per week (0.6 Full-time equivalent). Working patterns are: 1 x Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and 1 x Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Located in Wandsworth, St Martin's House has 16 self-contained units for clients with multiple needs / complex trauma, who have lived experience of homelessness. Reporting to the Senior Supported Housing Officer, the SHOs will provide case work management and support to tenants, enabling them to maximise their potential for independent living and ultimately supporting them to move on to appropriate independent accommodation within a two year stay. The SHOs will each manage a caseload of clients and provide a keyworking service with all associated administrative responsibilities to tenants. The successful candidates will have previous experience of working with clients with multiple needs / complex trauma within a supported housing environment in the voluntary or housing sector. You will also have experience of working with ex-rough sleepers. You will be able to maintain a non-judgemental and balanced approach towards tenants and have the resilience to deal with stressful situations. The post is graded at JNC Scale Scl 6/SO1 scale points 26 to 31, currently GBP26,865 - GBP31,140 [pro rata for part-time posts]. Post holders are normally appointed at the bottom of the scale.
