Y Care International requires an efficient and effective self-starter communicator with strong coordination skills, competence and experience to support the transformation of impact, evidence, and learning from programmes into compelling communications to engage and influence a range of external audiences. The successful candidate will work to create and maintain rich content across channels including the website, social media, and print and digital marketing materials, and measure successful impact in delivering the communications strategy. They will have a sound understanding and experience of marketing and communications outputs, ideally within the charity sector. They will have strong website management experience and a high level of understanding of content management systems (preferably WordPress), user experience design and search engine optimisation. They will be a confident communicator, able to build relationships with YCI's fundraising, programme and advocacy teams, and to communicate with confidence and authority, as well as methodical, organised, and able to work with attention to detail. The post holder must be willing to travel overseas if required, sometimes at short notice and to difficult areas. Y Care International creates opportunities for vulnerable young women and men across the globe to change their lives for the better. Inspired by and faithful to our Christian values, we work with people of all faiths and none to build a more just world, free from poverty. We are the international development partner of the YMCA movement in the UK and Ireland.
