We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and motivational Cycling Development Director to lead Cycling UK's exciting nationwide range of programmes, projects and training, all geared towards getting more people out on bikes, whatever their age, background or ability. Cycling UK, the national cycling charity, has 65,000 members and has promoted cycling and protected cyclists since 1878. Now we are looking for a new Cycling Development Director with the entrepreneurial drive and expertise to help us increase cycling in the UK. You will also have significant experience in strategic leadership and in income generation/fundraising, with a proven ability to create, manage and deliver both budgets and new initiatives. The Cycling Development Director will work as part of Cycling UK's Senior Management Team and will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The role will be based at the charity's National Head Office in Guildford, Surrey, with some home working and UK-wide travel. Cycling UK's vision is of a healthier, safer and happier Britain because we have enabled more people to cycle.
