We strive to provide innovative and responsive housing and support services that promote choice and independence for people with a variety of needs including adults with mental health support needs, young people, learning disabilities, autism, older people.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic, creative and committed individual to join the team working in our Mental Health Service. Our customers in these services are facing many challenges and deserve an enthusiastic staff team committed to supporting them to look forward to a promising future. Strong applicants for this role will have experience of working with this vulnerable customer group and working knowledge of mental health legislation and good practice. The role also involves housing and scheme management tasks. If you feel you can bring a fresh approach, some new ideas and a commitment to supporting our vulnerable customers to have genuine control over their lives, then we want to hear from you.

Areas of support and housing management include:
* Ensuring each customer is consulted and empowered as active participants in all aspects of their support planning
* Using your empathetic and caring approach to help our customers develop their confidence and skills
* The confidence to take proactive and creative actions in encouraging our customers to follow through on their plans and goals
* As a short term service, our customers must move on after two years and a key part of your role will be to support them to develop the skills necessary to manage in their own home
* Managing the voids, relets and sign up processes; supporting customers to pay their rent and manage arrears; property inspections and reporting / following up repairs and health & safety issues, ensuring the scheme is a homely and welcoming environment
* Providing outreach support to 6 flats of longer term accommodation with the focus on enabling customers to establish a home where they can develop a more settled lifestyle and create new opportunities

The post will involve working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will be provided with comprehensive training and will support every step of the way to develop your career with us.
