The Risk Control Manager will maintain and support the existing Operational Risk Framework. The person will maintain the risk framework and report on the status of risk management via the CFO to the Group Audit and Risk committee. Further to this, active liaison with senior managers of both businesses and corporate functions and other key stakeholders is essential.

Client Details

My client is an asset manager and investment service. Although this organisation has offices worldwide, this role will be based in their offices in the City of London.


The Risk Control Manager will:

* Maintain and support the existing risk framework.
* Run the day to day management of the risk function.
* Working closely with senior management, monitor review and report on Risk Assessment and Risk treatment undertaken within their units.
* Ensure consistency of control documentation and possibly suggest alternatives and if agreed implement accordingly.
* Maintain operational incident management reporting process, reporting on root causes following analysis.
* Maintain risk policies.
* Upon request of the CFO review certain aspects concerning the above.


The successful Risk Control Manager will be:

* A self-starter
* Happy working as part of a team and liaising with senior management
* From a Financial Services background in Operational Risk

Job Offer

This position will be a 6 month contract initially with the potential to extend or go permanent.
