The Reporting Account Executive role is the heart of the Reporting and Administrative process within each Account.   • Information and Data Management
    1. Manage and distribute market and competitor information to stake holders
    2. Monitor UK and global retailer and shopper trends, utilising self-sourced resources to develop shopper insights
    3. Using internal and external EPOS sales, contextual information and other relevant sources to reveal commercial opportunities
    4. Educate field teams on market trends
    5. Filter relevant client and competitor data from POS, industry newsletters, trade magazines, internet and communicate to stakeholders
  • Project management
    1. Manage and execute projects for clients utilising external and internal data sources and present findings to the relevant stakeholders
  • Reporting &MCS
    1. Satisfy basic and KPI reporting needs
    2. Summarise market reports (ie., IGD, Mintel) and distribute to relevant parties
    3. Presentation of market reviews to various levels across the business
    4. Generate weekly and monthly reports, for example but not limited to, Operational Standards, promotional compliance, dashboards, attendance reports and any ad hoc reports for Clients
  • General Administration
    1. Producing, collating, and distributing, induction and training packs, briefs, and News Letters
    2. Ensure Account activity briefs are received from the client and all relevant info is forwarded to the field (Booking meetings, accommodation, and flights for the team)
    3. Update and maintain the team attendance log, attendance breakdown and contact details spreadsheet
    4. Provide general admin support via email, telephone and post for the Account Manager and field team

Skills/ Competencies:

  • The Reporting Account Executive is responsible for delivering operational excellence within agreed budgetary guidelines and on-going input and development of world class systems
  • Must be highly numerate and have strong analytic skills to interpret data as well as communicate such findings to a wider audience of stakeholders.
  • Possess the skills to interface successfully to both with internal colleagues, client sales teams and information providers to ensure a commercial advantage for Blue Square and its customers
  • Is focused on problem solving, operational efficiency's and decision making
  • Has knowledge and experience in Field Sales category management and who has a proven track record in delivering results at all levels


  • Educated to 'A' level standard - essential

  • Graduate level - desirable

  • IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) - essential

  • Professional telephone manner - essential

  • Admin/ Office environment - essential

  • Confidence to make recommendations about how central support can facilitate a more efficient field operation - essential

  • Understanding or experience of Field Sales Operation's - desirable

  • Commercial Awareness
