Sales Support Executive - IT Managed Services
An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced IT Sales Support Executive
Our Client is expanding IT managed services business and are now looking for a customer service orientated person with a good work ethic and attention to detail to work in our sales team. The role is aimed at improving and building strong relationships with new and existing clients, assisting with the client administration and sales requests.
The Role is based in our Wandsworth office and the Sales Support / Account Manager is responsible for assisting in the sales process to new and existing customers with a focus on Customer service and administration
Reporting to the Sales Manager duties & responsibilities include :
Providing team members and clients with communications support in relation to quotes, orders, projects and services.
Processing client orders, working with the various departments and updating clients.
Working with sales team and engineers to quote clients.
Assist with the renewing of products and services in current client accounts.
Learn about the company product and service portfolio thoroughly.
Managing customer issues, queries and complaints, liaising with the Help Desk, Engineers and company Management team.
Answer and deal with the pre-sales telephone calls from new and existing customers.
Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of the company systems and processes.
Maintaining industry awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
Support the Sales Manager in any capacity required
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes required:
At least 2 years' experience in working in IT services/support sector to the SME Business market, ideally having worked for a Managed Service Provider.
Good interpersonal skills and can communicate at all levels, including written English.
Professional manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
Excellent time management
Attention to detail
Competent computer user with good experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Knowledge of current IT technologies and major vendor product and services from companies such as HP, Dell, Microsoft, SonicWall and Mimecast.
Previous experience of using Line of Business applications - QuoteWerks and Autotask.
Previous experience of working with IT distributors, such as Westcoast, Ingram Micro and Techdata, and their web sites and quoting tools.
Good understanding of software licensing of vendors, such as Microsoft and Adobe, would be preferred.
