Creative United is looking to hire two exceptional Marketing & Communications Managers to lead on the planning and delivery of a range of activities that will increase the reach and impact of our publicly funded programmes.

About us

Creative United is a Community Interest Company that provides a range of services designed to enable the growth and development of the UK's creative and cultural industries. Based in the heart of the creative community at Somerset House, our programmes include:

  • Own Art - interest free loans for buying contemporary art and craft
  • Take it away - interest free loans for buying musical instruments
  • Prosper - business development support for arts and cultural organisations

About the roles

As one of our Marketing & Communications Managers you will be responsible for a wide range of activities including driving social media engagement, preparing and publishing online content, developing promotional partnership and delivering events around the country. One Manager role will focus on developing the Own Art and Take it away schemes; the other will focus on Prosper and our wider business support offer.

Both these roles will require you to deal with multiple workloads and work to tight deadlines, often under pressure. Throughout the year there will be opportunities to play an active role in the planning and coordination events, and to work with other members of the team to identify and develop new partnerships that can help us achieve sales and other business development objectives.

This will require you to deploy your interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate with venues and suppliers, and to represent the company at the events themselves.

With a keen eye for detail, you will work with your colleagues to ensure that all marketing and communications activity are effectively targeted and evaluated. You will also work with the wider team to assist in the development of departmental databases, supporting CRM and ensuring accurate and appropriate marketing applications

With at least 2 years working in a similar role, you will have an active interest in the arts and creative industries. It is essential that you are articulate and confident and can work as part of a team and also independently.

If this sounds like something you'd like to be part of, we would love to hear from you. For further details please download the full job descriptions.
