Refuge Worker Job Reference No. SWA2599 Haringey Solace Women's Aid works with women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. We work in a holistic and empowering way enabling service users to live independent lives. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced refuge worker. You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse and all forms of violence against women and girls. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have experience of housing management and multi-agency partnership working. You should have a minimum of two years' experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from diverse backgrounds is essential to this role. Salary: Starting salary of GBP22,000. Up to GBP26,000 depending on experience and qualification(s) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent Please take a look at our Job Description and Person Specification.
