About the position

Mimecast is a 100% channel focused company and transacts all
revenue via IT channel partners. In this position, the Channel Operations
Executive will be supporting the Central Europe (DACH) go to market team by
managing partners and routing their enquiries to relevant stakeholders such as
marketing, customer experience and sales. This person will provide an excellent
service to the partners they manage to ensure they drive additional revenue and
customer retention.

This role is suited to a meticulously organised individual
that prides themselves in providing a good experience to partners and
colleagues. This role is an ideal stepping stone for someone that wants to
progress into a channel sales role or partner management role.

Key Responsibilities

Be the
first point of contact for a selection of Mimecast partners

Profile
prospective partners that are interested in becoming a Mimecast partner and
manage their journey through the Mimecast onboarding process

Help to
qualify new business and upsell opportunities with the partner

Generate
quotes for partners and process orders that are not placed through the Mimecast
Partner Portal ( representative if over 500 seats

Provide
demonstrations and assistance to partners using the Mimecast Partner Portal

Organise
technical demonstrations for partner's customers with Mimecast's technical
pre-sales team

Work with
different stakeholders to make sure partners have suitable access to sales
resources, marketing and marketing funds, pre-sales, technical enablement

Support
partner's customers that need access to customer experience and support teams

Support
partners with lead generation activities such as cleansing data, booking call
out days and providing assistance with live Mimecast opportunities

Pass leads
generated by our telemarketing team to suitable Mimecast partners

Keep
contact details up to date and ensure all partners are adhering to their
partner program requirements

Send
monthly updates to partners

Provide
partners with reporting such as revenue performance and lead generation
statistics

Help to
organise and present at Partner Education Days

Achieve
against a set of pre-agreed sales targets and KPIs on a
monthly/quarterly/annual basis

Essential Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for the Mimecast Channel Operations Team
will demonstrate the following attributes:

Min. 2+
years Inside Sales experience

Solid
organisational skills and ability to multi-task

Has
worked in an administration or customer/partner experience function

Good
administration skills - Outlook/Excel/CRM

Calm
demeanor that can work under pressure

Driven to
succeed and always looking for ways to improve systems and processes

Confident
communicator in telephone and face to face engagements

Attention
to detail with a passion for delivering an exceptional level of service

Commercially
minded

Mature
outlook, comfortably working with contacts at all levels including senior
management and technical consultants

Track
record of meeting and exceeding targets/KPIs

Desirable

Experience
in email technologies, cloud-based or security/storage vendors

Have
worked for an IT reseller or Vendor in a similar function
