Key responsibilities

  • Client engagement, able to create structured client facing presentations of good quality.
  • Workshop facilitation, Able to undertake business and user requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops.
  • Wireframe creation and specification writing as part of agile delivery team, working closely with Business Analysts, designers, developers.

    You've been working in either an agency, consultancy or as part of an in-house team. You know the foundations - the User Centred Design methodology, how to create quality deliverables and have a solid understanding how to move from requirements to a full specification. You should be able to carry out qualitative and quantitative research, producing insights that inform optimisation strategies to improve website performance.

    You will have been working on premium clients and new propositions. You have the appetite to develop your thinking skills working with senior UX leads. You will have had experience of working at pace on live projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in large agile teams.
  • Proven experience of CMS platform integration, experience with Jahia is essential.
  • Proven experience of delivering multi-channel, web, tablet, mobile and responsive projects.
  • Proven experienced in using the full range of UX research and design methods (Research, Personas, User Journeys, Concept maps, Site maps / Process flows, Wireframes).
  • Proven experience in Interactive prototyping for demonstration to clients.
  • Excellent knowledge and experienced in using Axure, Sketch, Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Invision.
  • Experienced in rapidly managing fluctuating requirements and requests.
  • Knowledge of  UX Automotive is desirable.

Ideally you should also have:-

  • Qualification in a related field, such as Library Science, Interaction Design, Product Design, Architecture, Psychology, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Philosophy, English, History, Anthropology, Advertising.

 

Team and people skills

  • Ability to work cooperatively with people who have a range of skills, styles and approaches.
  • Ability to integrate into new project team and understand the interdependencies between team members.
  • Project handovers - good documentation, file storage and briefing to other team members when handing over your project work.
  • Learning - you attend agency events, external events and self-study to progress your knowledge and approach.
  • Communication - write clear, structured and concise documentation using the appropriate channel free of jargon and complexity.
  • Coaching - you will be able to provide direction and review work in progress deliverables for junior colleagues and helping them learn new techniques.
  • Reviews and feedback - you will proactively seek to review your work, take feedback on board and use it to improve the solution and quality.
