Business Analyst - (Integration/front office)-600pd

Location: Central London

Sector: Brokerage (FX, Commodities)

Essential domain Knoledge: Fixed-Income + UST

This project will be working with the Front Office Technology Integration team to upgrade the new trading operation systems, you must have solid experience on at least 2 major asset classes.


* Understanding the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery
* Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
* Service oriented and adaptable and resilient Results oriented and personal accountability
* Quality and control, with excellent attention to detail
* Understanding of Wholesale Financial Services.
* Would be advantageous to have in depth knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas - Interest Rate Derivatives - Basis Swaps, Swaptions, Inflation Options and swaps, Asset swaps, Commodities - EU/UK power and Gas, Oil, coal, precious metals and Freight, Commodity derivatives - Options and Futures, Bonds- Fixed Income - e.g. Gov', sovereign, corporate bonds, Repos, Credit - CDS emerging market and middle eastern, Equities - Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Equity Finance, Structured Products, Compliance - MTFs, MiFID, FCA, EMIR and market surveillance,
* Front Office Process - broking methods voice and electronic, trade and order capture, Middle Office Process - control and processing of transactions,
* Back Office Process - Clearing, Settlement, Invoicing, payment and Confirmations
* Skilled in Microsoft applications software, inclusive of MS Visio and / or BPMN 2.0
* Good understanding of Agile/Waterfall development methodologies

Project management:

* Conduct Business Analysis on Technology Integration projects
* Produce clear documentation to agreed standards and communication of project analysis, requirements
* Agree documented user requirements with the business and IT
* Liaise with Project Managers, QA, Brokers, Business Managers and other areas of the business as required
* Coordinate, hold and lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business Monitor, track issues, risks and dependencies on analysis and requirements work
* Ensure Project Manager is kept apprised of the status of the assigned projects and activities
* Manage and define project tasks and cross reporting to appropriate project team
* Ensure that appropriate levels of service are provided to meet current and future business needs
* Manage ad-hoc tasks as required
