Internal Sales Executive
One of the countries leading heating & ventilation component suppliers are currently looking to recruit a talented multi-skilled target driven Internal Sales Executive to join their well-established team at their offices near Hampton Court, Surrey. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional sales skills, preferably with people management experience, selling heating & ventilation products and components to stockists & OEM customers both in the UK, Europe & beyond. The company are looking for a team player, driven to exceed sales target with a proven ability to maximise revenue streams. Other skills they are looking for are good MS office skills, a good telephone manner & the ability & willing to learn the technical aspects of our products. Reporting to the General Manager, this is an office based role with occasional customer & supplier visits that would suit a sales professional with business to business commercial experience and a mechanical aptitude. You should be comfortable working to targets, developing new sales ideas, talking to customers, end users, technicians and engineers on the phone, as well as interpreting requirements via email & in person. As part of this role, you will be expected to support the business with accurate weekly & monthly sales reports, as well as supporting general marketing activities. Key Job Responsibilities: - Drive sales through account management of existing customers & new business development. - Grow & maximize revenue streams, working to exceed targets. - Proactively contact customers to discuss requirements & gather market information. - To interpret customer requirements & effectively advise the correct products for customer's applications. - Make suitable written quotations & follow up within agreed time frame. - Build a good technical understanding of our products & their applications. - Help identify changes & additions required to the product range & assist in selection of new products. - Support ongoing sales & marketing activities including email, website & printed material. - Produce month end sales reports. - Gather, store & maintain technical information for new & existing products. - Gather information on competitor products (technical features, prices, market/customer). To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills: Excellent written & verbal communication skills; A good mechanical aptitude; Experience in a commercial environment (preferably business to business); Be able to demonstrate strong MS office knowledge, especially Excel. Basic salary between GBP30,000 and GBP35,000 depending on experience + bonus.
