This well-established maintenance company is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate would have worked in a similar role previously, ideally for a specialist contractor. This role would suit those with an inquiring, problem solving mind and also for those that are task oriented. Individuals who can act on their own initiative and are self-motivated with a competitive drive to get tasks completed would be suitable for this role. Main responsibilities: - Pre-inspecting works required and preparing reports on PDA, specs and risk assessments - Post inspecting works carried out - Supervising operatives and providing technical advice and support - Carrying out joint inspections with the council representatives - Obtaining materials and non-standard items - Training new operatives What they require: - Computer literate - Experience in multi trades - Good communication skills - Ability to work on their own and as a part of team - Good time management - UK Driving Licence - Experience in social housing sector and SOR codes will be an asset What they offer: - Long term contract after trial period - In-house training - Promotion opportunities within a growing company *If successful after the interview there will be a week's trial and then a 3 months contract with possibility of long term contract.
