About the role Role Purpose To lead and manage the firm's website and other digital platforms, coordinating the day-to-day maintenance, monitoring performance and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure content and functionality meet our wider digital communications strategy. Reporting to the Head of Communications with a dotted line to the Director of Business Development. Key internal relationships: Widely across the firm but especially: partners, Communications team, UK and international BD teams, Knowledge & Information Services (KIS) team, Information Technology team, and CMS project teams. Key Objectives: Manage content for our key online platforms; website, microsites and working with the Communications Manager on Twitter and LinkedIn Project managing the continuing migration of content, such as legacy Olswang and Nabarro blog sites, auditing and reviewing content to establish what gets transferred onto the cms.law platform Advise on and implement online communications and marketing campaigns ensuring that all online communication is brand compliant and consistent with our overall PR and communications objectives Develop and implement effective processes for managing content on the firm's external website Use web analytics to improve and develop content and usage as well as track and report visitor trends to the online platforms Actively contribute to wider Communications priorities and projects as a senior member of the Communications team Stay up to date with and benchmark new technology with competitors and industry leaders Build internal relations, working directly with partners and others to become the "go to" person on our digital presence / website Key Responsibilities: Responsible for planning and coordinating website content with respective BD teams and partners, in coordination with the central team in Frankfurt Support the CMS website development, working closely with the CMS team to identify requirements and roll out solutions Report on the effectiveness of website / online campaigns Monitor external environment and competitive position, monitoring our online performance against agreed KPI's Working with the Communication Manager to identify, manage and support the implementation and effectiveness of social media and online campaigns Manage and plan website editorial priorities Managing the Technical Communications Executive who executes the day-to-day admin and maintenance for the website About you Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent Previous experience of online services / communications / web management required Experience within a professional services environment desirable Skills & Knowledge Excellent technical knowledge on the firm's online platforms as well as social media and multimedia online brand Experience of managing and uploading content via a content management system Experience of creating rich media using software such as Photoshop Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative Proactive and self-motivated Able to challenge, yet diplomatic Able to work as part of a team Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and handle a number of concurrent projects and tasks Efficient utilisation of available resources Copywriting skills Good commercial awareness i.e. aware of issues pertinent to the firm's online services About us CMS is an international organisation with market leading businesses throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia and beyond.
