LOCATION: Surrey (board meetings are held in Esher)

JOB TITLE: Trustees (including a vacancy for Treasurer)

HOURS: You will be required to attend bi-monthly Board meetings (7-10pm) and an additional 4 to 5 days throughout the year.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading, registered Charity that has been supporting Carers for over 30 years. Their core purpose is to improve the quality of life of unpaid Carers and the people for whom they care. They provide respite breaks to help ease the strain on unpaid Carers, giving them a few hours to themselves by taking over the care duties at their home for a minimum 3 hour session or through respite breaks at our community adult and children's clubs. They are currently looking for people to join their Board of Trustees.

THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity to use your skills for a worthwhile cause, to give something back to the local community and really make a difference to Carers in Surrey. The Trustee role will not only allow you to have input to the decisions that will help shape your local community, but will also allow you to develop some great board level skills at the same time.

Key Responsibilities of the Trustee role to include:-
Attending Board meetings and the annual AGM
Contribute to the sub committee's
Participate in strategic and policy decision-making
Answer queries and provide advice, on an ad hoc basis
Help to shape and clarify the charity's mission and vision.

THE CANDIDATE: If you have relevant and transferable business management skills that you believe would be of benefit to the strategic management of the organisation we'd love to hear from

or social care or that has experience of being a Carer.
