An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer who is qualified in a Bricklaying or related discipline and has experience of delivering a wide range of Bricklaying / Construction programmes.
We desire an experienced and highly motivated lecturer to join our growing and dynamic team in our further development of inspiring and innovative teaching and learning practices.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of programme planning and delivery, learning approaches and assessment strategies and also possess excellent vocational knowledge and experience of the latest bricklaying / construction technologies.
To teach and assess on a range of Bricklaying and Construction courses from Entry to Level 3 of mixed ages and ability. This is predominately to teach bricklaying for both practical and theory however some units in carpentry or generic units may also be timetabled.
As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
