Stakeholder Democracy Network is a non-profit organisation with over a decade's experience in Niger Delta affairs and expertise in the environmental, social and economic issues impacting upon the region. Our work spans across five pillar issues that represent significant long held grievances and acute problems that we are trying to resolve. These are: Access to Energy, Democratisation, Environment, Resilient Communities, and Resource Governance. SDN is advertising for the following position: Job Title: Graphic Designer Location: London Reporting to and working closely with: Programmes Director & Communication Creative Salary: 20K - 25K Pro rated to 3 days a week Job Purpose: As the Graphic Designer at SDN you'll be responsible for designing all of our outputs. You'll be the one who will define how our outputs look and ensure that our brand identity is maintained across all of our materials. The work we do here at SDN varies day to day so we need someone who is dynamic and reliable, who can work under pressure and deliver efficiently and effectively. Your work will range from designing fullscale reports, producing infographics all the way through to designing posters and content for social media. We are looking for the right candidate to grow and learn with us. Required skills: ?? You will have 2+ years' experience in a creative/design agency You'll need a strong portfolio of graphic design demonstrating design thinking ?? Experience using Adobe CC in particular Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator ?? Ability to work collaboratively across teams with multiple priorities ?? Strong communication skills ?? Self-motivated to lead design projects ?? Creating thoughtful and appropriate solutions to design challenges of all sizes while collaborating with a team Desired skills (but not required): ?? Experience in animation ?? Experience in video production ?? Interest in social issues Overall duties: ?? Implement SDN company brand across all products ?? Lead the design and final production of all SDN products ?? Facilitate the SDN design process to ensure relevant content is received from project teams to produce final documents and outputs ?? Act as editorial designer for products across all projects and the organisation ?? Design and produce informational and data products as required by projects ?? Design and produce infographics to help effectively promote the work and objectives of SDN ?? Maintain a documentation management system of final products Salary for the role is commensurate with experience and education.
