St Barnabas House provides palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including In-patient Care, Day Hospice and Community Care. Chestnut Tree House is the children's hospice reaching across Sussex and South East Hampshire. Providing care & support for children/young people and their families with life-shortening conditions.

We currently have the following vacancy:

Role: Events & Campaigns Fundraiser

Hours: 37.5 per week (part time would be considered)

Salary: GBP22,930 - GBP26,560 (depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role)

Location: St. Barnabas House, Worthing, West Sussex

The St. Barnabas Hospices fundraising event portfolio is growing, and so too is our need for talented, passionate sports and challenge events professionals. With exciting and challenging plans we are looking to recruit an Events and Campaigns Fundraiser to work with our exiting team

We are looking for someone who can develop, plan, market and deliver a number of different event, including our flagship 'Night to Remember' event, as well as our running teams and other mass participation and third party events.

The successful applicant will be educated to a good standard, have organisational and planning skills and be able to allocate resources effectively. At least 2 years' experience in event organisation and marketing is essential. You must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills as well as the ability to problem solve, manage risk and think on your feet.

A full driving licence and own transport are essential for this post.
