These checks are only undertaken with consent, and in accordance with our legal and regulatory obligations Business Area - IT Role: Security Project Manager Location: London Reporting to: Head of Information Security Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 9:30 - 17:30, however you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to carry out your duties. Department/ Role Overview: This role will work closely with the Head of Information Security and his team to assist in the management of a number of projects and the co-ordination of activity across the InfoSec Team. The role will provide an interface between the InfoSec team and the rest of IT, helping to co-ordinate activities. In addition this role will manage security projects end to end as required by the Head of Information Security Main responsibilities: To provide project co-ordination and management to assist the Head of Information Security and his team in the management of ongoing projects and workload. The role needs to ensure the Head of Information Security has a clear view of the resource demands on his team and upcoming projects. Essential skills and experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a project manager / coordinator with a proven track record, ideally in a professional services company. Experience in delivering and co-ordinating information security activities and projects. Structured methodical and organised in their approach Strong project planner and with ability to spot links and dependencies. Good understanding of the soft skills involved in successful management of projects and teams motivation. A good eye for detail, ability to work accurately and effectively even when under pressure Able to learn and understand current business processes and help to model new processes/procedures Excellent analytical skills Able to listen and understand requirements Able to manage multiple projects concurrently Liaise and influence at a senior level within the firm Able to challenge and motivate others Assist with research and evaluation of solutions.
