As a Barclays Personal Assistant, you will be a based in our Churchill Place office in London, providing dedicated administration support to two Directors. You will have the opportunity to coordinate and support special events and projects, making this a varied role, with scope to widen your skills and experience as well as broaden your network across other parts of the business. We'll look to you to take personal ownership for tasks and working alongside the wider team, ensure work is managed and completed effectively. As a Personal Assistant, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Receiving incoming mail and delegating accordingly, as well as replying, or drafting letters for directors where necessary

• Booking all travel arrangements and accommodation for the directors, adhering to budget and policies

• Managing phone calls and taking action personally or diverting to other teams, prioritising information to maximise the Directors' time

• Engaging in a wide range of admin duties, including records management, maintaining budget figures and ensuring that guests' needs are met

• Managing your own personal development by actively taking on new responsibilities and roles, and providing short term cover for colleagues

As a Personal Assistant, your skills and qualifications will include:

• Experience of managing a team of senior leader's diaries

• Extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite to include advanced working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel

• A proven record of demonstrating the ability to make changes and re-organise plans at short notice

• Ability to proactively solve problems and find resolution to issues

• The ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure
