Solace Women's Aid works with women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. We work in a holistic and empowering way enabling service users to live independent lives. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced refuge worker. You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years' experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential. We offer fixed term contract which ends on 1st March 2020 Salary: Starting salary of GBP22,000, pro rata. Up to GBP26,000 depending on experience and qualification(s) Hours: 22.5 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term Please take a look at our Job Description and Person Specification.
