We are recruiting a General Manager to assist with commissioning our new luxury care complex in Ottershaw. The General Manager does not need to have previous experience of commissioning as we have a specialist commissioning team who will be working alongside you

Salary GBP75,000

Annual discretionary bonus of up to 20% based on both EBITDA and KPI's

Construction is underway on our brand new care complex in Chertsey and it is anticipated that the care home will open its doors to residents in January 2018.

Accommodation will include 70 private apartments with a mixture of studio and one-bed suites surrounded by land-scaped gardens. We will offer exceptional facilities and services for the elderly and those requiring specialist dementia care within a homely and comfortable environment.The home will offer exceptional residential and nursing care, and outstanding facilities and services, all within a comfortable, friendly and home-like environment. We are dedicated to treating every member of our community with the respect, dignity and the individuality they deserve.

The home will include its very own cinema room, guaranteed to keep everyone entertained, hair salon, and a therapy room. A Bistro that offers a welcoming, casual dining experience, ideal for sharing with families. A new home also offers a restaurant with private dining facilities.

ESSENTIAL:
- General management experience
- Previous experience in the health care or long term care industry is essential
- Prior sales experience is desirable although not essential
- Clinical/Medical knowledge desirable although not essential
- Managing large teams of people
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with people and display empathy and sensitivity where appropriate.
- Passion for service to the elderly
