My client is a large professional practice who is looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in finance and accounting to join their administration department

You will be involved in and responsible for a variety of administration tasks.

Upkeep of filing cupboards

  • Daily scanning for each department
  • Preparation of files for scanning and archiving
  • Distribution of outgoing post to directors
  • Preparation of outgoing post on a timed basis
  • Upkeep of stationery supplies and cupboards
  • Meeting room preparation
  • Ensuring kitchen area is tidy and stocked
  • Secondary switchboard responsibilities
  • Reception cover when required
  • Occasional visits to clients' premises to collect/deliver documentation

Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills - able to communicate effectively with staff, clients and visitors
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English - at least 5 GCSEs grade A* to C, with at least a B in English and Maths
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to get on well with a wide variety of clients and demonstrate a responsible attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Smart appearance, professional manner and ability to maintain confidentiality
