Graduate Recruitment Assistant
Job description We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Recruitment Assistant to join our HR team in London. This role will provide administrative and client-facing support to the Graduate Recruitment team. This role will also support the lateral resourcing team on an ad hoc basis when required Key relationships Global Head of Resourcing Resourcing Manager Graduate Recruitment Manager Graduate Recruitment Specialists Graduate Recruitment Partner Recruitment Administration in Belfast Wider recruitment and HR teams Trainee solicitors Role and responsibilities Providing general operational support to the Graduate Recruitment team and lateral Resourcing team (where required) Dealing with day-to-day recruitment queries from prospective candidates and Partners as well as daily interaction with our Belfast HR administration team. Support to the Graduate Recruitment Team Support the Graduate Recruitment Specialist with the organisation and running of A&O's vacation schemes, first year programme and Insight Week Organise and run events as part of our diversity agenda within Graduate Recruitment Attend on-campus events, including law fairs, skills events and presentations Own and drive key university relationships for Allen & Overy Screen online open day, vacation programme and training contract applications Running assessment days during our interview seasons Support to the Graduate Recruitment diversity agenda Capture and report on diversity data of trainee candidates Organise and run internal and external graduate diversity events Manage relationships with external diversity and inclusion partners Support internal and external diversity initiatives Support to lateral Resourcing team when required Support will be given to the lateral resourcing team on an ad hoc basis when required Person specification Excellent organisation, analytical and administration skills Excellent attention to detail Pro-active and flexible approach to work Confident communicator and presenter, friendly and mature in approach Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment Professional, with the ability to handle confidential information Team player Creative and solution orientated Experience/skills required Previous recruitment and/or HR administration experience within a busy department, ideally within a blue chip and/or professional service company is essential. Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships Be able to identify and evaluate problems and demonstrate the ability to approach and tackle problems effectively Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and/or HR systems. Competent in Microsoft Office packages. Positive, pro-active attitude and ability to cope under pressure.
