Videographer/Deputy Multimedia Producer

My client, a publishing client based in South London are looking for a Videographer/Deputy Multimedia Producer to work within their Multimedia team. They publish mainly B2B magazines for a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, work well within a small team and a good understanding of After Effects, Final Cut & Photoshop.

The Role Involves:

We are looking for a deputy video editor and videographer to join talented multimedia team based in Croydon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a videographer with at least 1 - 2 years' experience, to develop within a creative environment and work across a wide range of projects for leading B2B brand names.

Travel and working hours:

  • The role involves frequent travel to UK and overseas destinations
  • Frequent attendance of industry events means occasional late nights and early starts (additional hours are compensated by an allowance and/or time off)
  • All travel is paid by the company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offline editing projects will include; interviews, case studies, roundtables, events, pitches, behind the scenes films etc.
  • Editing support and enhancing services provided in the video suite.
  • Making sure all equipment and video suite systems are in good working order.
  • Ensuring that project deadlines and delivery dates are met.
  • Adhering to a system for video suite bookings and updating old ones to keep the dept. organised.
  • Keep databases and video archive up to date and in order.
  • Estimating edit/shoot jobs accurately and cost effectively.
  • Ad hoc admin and misc producer requests (music searches, film clip research etc.)

Key Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years editing experience in an agency or post house.
  • Excellent knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut & Photoshop.
  • Knowledge and experience in videography, perhaps also the use of DSLR cameras.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Conscientious with quality of work and attention to detail are essential.
  • Fun and social with great people skills.
