Internal Communications Manager - Permanent - London We have the pleasure of partnering up with an amazing housing organisation, assisting with the recruitment for an Internal Communications Manager in a permanent role, paying GBP36,000. The chosen applicant will take lead on the development, implementation, optimisation and evaluation of the internal corporate communications services for the organisation. As well as being a part of a change management programme operating throughout the business. This role will deliver a range of integrated communications activities and services across the Group, supporting the delivery of the Group's Corporate Strategy and the Group's communications plans. Under the direction of the Senior Communications Manager, your duties would include: * Consulting with key stakeholders, strategic planning and coordinating integrated internal corporate communications for the Group, including managing the production of all content including video, intranet, blogs, Yammer and other appropriate content * Work with communications team colleagues to ensure that all internal messaging for all directorates is consistent and integrated for all stakeholders, including staff, customers and external audiences, as well as proactively identifying and managing PR and external media opportunities arising from appropriate corporate communications * Managing key internal events and conferences - advising and assisting with strategic objective setting for events and conferences, advising on planning and delivery, assisting at the events to ensure the professional and smooth running of logistics * Managing content on the intranet and contribute to its continual improvement and evaluating and reporting on the overall effectiveness of internal and change communication activity * To take responsibility for identifying your own professional and career development needs As you can appreciate, this is quite a key role within this organisation and a massive opportunity for someone who is looking to step into a higher level role than what they are in now. Due to the level of this role, our client has asked that those who apply must possess the following; * Five or more years working in internal communications, preferably in a change environment * Educated to degree level OR qualified by experience to an equivalent level * Experience of project management - i.e., developing project and strategic communications plans, delivering progress against plans, managing budgets, co-ordinating the work of people for whom you do not have line-management responsibility * Ability to manage financial resources and keep within agreed budgets * Evidence of success in building good working relationships across professional and operational boundaries and at all levels, including senior management and external stakeholders * Being prepared to attend evening meetings/work irregular hours when required and be prepared to travel to offices other than base Desirable: * Experience in the housing sector or in a professional services environment * Knowledge of internal communications tools, e.g. Yammer * Knowledge of technical creative applications such as Adobe CS This is truly a fantastic opportunity for someone who is genuinely passionate about helping people get into new homes, improving services for them, and helping transform people's lives!
