The CSP is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UK's 56,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

This is an integral role in the organisation and, as part of the Governance Team, you will be responsible for the operational management of the CEO Directorate, leading on operational and financial planning and risk management. This involves monitoring existing performance and expenditure against existing targets and budgets, as well as planning for the future.

You will also provide support on a range of corporate projects, working with the Head of Governance and a range of people across the organisation to ensure that CSP comply with key areas, such as data protection.

As part of the Governance Team will also help support the CSP Council, ensuring the efficient operation of day to day work.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent), or with equivalent working knowledge, you will have significant experience and knowledge of operational and financial planning and management, and be an effective project manager.

You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively liaise with a wide range of people, be focused and confident using your initiative and have the tact and diplomacy required to work appropriately with sensitive information and data. You will also need to have good IT skills, along with great organisational ability and problem solving skills.
