JavaScript Developer required to work with a FinTech Data Science team in London on a cutting-edge SaaS platform bringing intelligence to financial forecasting and cash flow management. The JavaScript Developer will join at a period of rapid growth with a large amount of greenfield project work across the stack. You will be working on multiple React + Redux single page applications as well as the suite of Node APIs and microservices that power them. Furthermore, the engineering team are starting to implement Go in areas of their stack where low level performance is key and they also support the data science team with data engineering with in Python and flask to power their data science / machine learning. Whilst you will not be expected to know these things, or even have too get involved, there is the opportunity to further your knowledge in these areas it that is of interest. What they are looking for from you Strong knowledge of JavaScript Some experience working with Node in product Good understanding of React, ideally redux as well Passion for quality, strong believer in automation in build, test and deployment Desire to become an accomplished senior full stack engineer in return, they will support you in learning what it takes to move into a senior role asap. Whether that's more about Node, API design, Front End architecture or DevOps, they have an incredible team in place and an essentially unlimited training budget to support you.
