Harris Invictus Academy Croydon, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is an 11-19, co-educational school which opened for an initial cohort of 180 year 7 students in September 2014 and will grow each year to 1150 students by the end of the decade. The academy is situated on a site in the centre of Croydon, close to transport links and other amenities. The academy will move into a state-of-the-art, new building with 21st century facilities for all. The specialisms of the academy are Enterprise and Sport.

We are looking for a Seclusion Manager to run an exclusion unit for students within the academy.

Your role will be:

  • To effectively and efficiently manage the SRC to provide a full behaviour support and intervention service to students and staff to support the Academy's Behaviour and Discipline Policy
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a mentor / course facilitator.
  • To facilitate and encourage a support / intervention experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • To share and support the Academy's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
