About usIncreasingly, Christian Aid is acting as a service provider on flagship development projects being run by commercial institutions and government departments such as the Department for International Development. By helping to manage the financial contracts involved in these, you'll be helping individuals and communities around the world. About the roleIn our capacity as a service provider, we organise large international projects on behalf of other agencies, paying for services from other organisations where necessary. And that involves a lot of administration. It will be down to you to process that quickly and accurately. You'll work on everything from preparing month-end accruals and raising sales invoices, to working on the management accounts, to supporting the forecasting process. And everything you do will be aimed at adding value to projects like SABI, a four-year, citizen-led accountability programme in Sierra Leone aimed at informing and empowering citizens to enable them to hold effective and ongoing dialogue with better engaged and more accountable state service providers.About youStrong accounting skills are essential for this role. You'll have developed those in a computerised accounting environment. You'll need to have a good knowledge of working with institutional donors and commercial awareness.
