HR Professional, SEMEA (16 Month FTC)
Contract Type: 16 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) Start Date: 03 October 2017Location: Guildford, Surrey Purpose: This position is based in Guildford and is therefore located remotely from the circa 60 employees working in their local offices and various client sites in these countries. Travel will be required to Paris on a monthly basis. Occasional travel to other countries may be required.Fluency in French is a mandatory requirement for this role.This position reports directly into the Chief HR Officer based in Stamford, USA.Person Specification:• Fluent in French; language skills in any Italian or Spanish would be an advantage • Previous HR experience in a European role, ideally within a professional services or technology environment • CIPD qualified to level 5 and/or certification(s) in European HR a distinct advantage • Competent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ensure that all hiring decisions are within the agreed budget and compensation parameters o Maintain hiring tracker and provide hiring forecast information to the CHRO and Finance Team • Hiring and On-Boarding o Ensure SOX compliance by obtaining appropriate approvals for new hires and contractors o Review and authorize release of new hire offer/letters and contracts, as well as sub-contractor SOWs and agreements o Hold one-to-one HR induction with new hires and assist in the co-ordination and delivery of the quarterly EMEA Onboarding Programme • Leavers o Ensure leavers understand the exit process. Provide and obtain necessary leaver documents as required o Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the organization. Work with the HR team to analyse results and identify any issues that may require further attention • Employee Relations o Act as first point of contact for People Managers and employees, providing guidance and advice as appropriate in all employee relations matters • Training o Manage the French training budget and maintain the training spreadsheet o Book training courses; liaise with employees and training providers; maintain training records o Request funding from the FAFIEC as necessary • HR Metrics and Reporting o Provide HR metrics to the management teams as required e.g. annual leave balances, pyramid, compensation analyses o Participate in management meetings as and when required • Performance Management o Monitor annual and mid-year performance cycle activities o Support employees and People Managers in the bi-annual promotion processes o Provide advice to People Managers regarding performance issues as appropriate o Work with the EMEA HR Team and EMEA Senior Leaders to revise and update the EMEA Goal Framework for 2018 and 2019 • Compensation, Benefits and Payroll o Support Senior Managers in the annual merit increase and bonus award processes o Work with Senior Managers to review annual compensation plans and establish plans for 2018 and 2019 o Communicate any necessary changes to payroll in line with monthly deadlines o Support the Payroll Specialist with the submission of annual French declarations o Revise and administer (if required for 2018) the plan d'int??ressement for ISG France • HR Administration (supported by the HR Assistant) o Facilitate the monthly Employee Representatives meeting for ISG France o Organise and conduct the employee representative elections in 2018 o Action any contract changes (e.g. contract renewals, promotions, increases in salary/benefits) and produce appropriate paperwork o Maintain HR systems' data o Maintain accurate HR files in both electronic and hard copy o Maintain the EMEA-wide shared electronic HR calendar, pro-actively monitoring upcoming items to be actioned o Keep HR process and policy documents and the People Services intranet pages up-to-date as necessary o Review and approve HR-related invoices (legal support, recruitment etc.)The duties listed above are not intended to be exhaustive and may change from time to time.
