Do you want to play your part in transforming the lives of thousands of vulnerable and traumatised children in Africa and those affected by the current refugee crisis? Do you enjoy seeing through ambitious programmes from initial fundraising right through to delivery? One to One Children's Fund are seeking a focused, results driven individual to join our highly-motivated team as our Grants Manager. Under the direction of One to One Children's Fund Executive Chair, and in liaison with the Senior Technical Advisor, the Grants and Programmes Manager will take the lead in ensuring the effective implementation, monitoring and reporting of donor-funded projects. Your role will also include setting and delivering on income targets, in particular from corporate donors and foundations, building on our current donor base and leveraging new income generation opportunities. As a confident and collaborative individual, you will be able to develop strong relationships with new and existing project partners and donors. You will have an understanding of community-based interventions in developing countries, and experience of successfully convincing funders of the worth and impact of projects to secure new income flows. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information into compelling proposals and reports. You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. This role is likely to appeal either to experienced fundraisers looking to gain more direct involvement with programmes, or to those with programme experience in the field who are now ready to apply their skills to a London-based role. If you're looking for your next challenge and can bring broad fundraising or programme management experience, as well as a passion for what we do, we'd love to hear from you.
