This is a unique opportunity for a Bid Administrator to join a campaigning charity that is really making a difference to people's lives, not just supporting people but working to change attitudes, law and policy, locally and nationally.
This role would suit a graduate with an interest in mental health or psychology, and any previous experience in procurement and administration, along with an understanding of the tendering process, would be put to good use providing support to a dedicated team in a varied and stimulating role.

The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive, confidential and high quality administrative service involving regular contact and exchange of information with internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Manage and maintain all tender notifications, tender pipeline and deadlines
* Manage bid portals, submit clarification questions and circulate documentation to the bid team
* Collate all annexes and documents required for the bid submission, proofread and format bid to ensure high quality submission
* Design and maintain effective filing systems to initiate and maintain records and generate information as required
* Provide comprehensive support to the team including: organising travel arrangements, preparing for and minuting meetings, researching information, developing comprehensive reports and plans.
* Act as the first point of contact ensuring face to face, telephone or email queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively

The successful Bid Administrator will possess the following:

* Excellent organisational skills; the ability to evidence prioritisation of work load and time management, coping in pressurised busy environments
* Confidence in challenging ambiguity when it arises from internal and external stakeholders
* The ability to communicate back to management level to ensure deadlines for submissions of bids and tenders are met.
* The ability to proactively prevent problems as well as solve them as they arise

A DBS will be applied for, but is not essential to start.
