This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Systems Executive to join Seymour Distribution, a rapidly expanding, established magazine distribution company (supply chain industry) in a new position. Based near Farringdon / Barbican in London, this opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to grow and progress in a strong career within Seymour. As a Business Systems Executive, your role will primarily focus on supporting multiple teams, primarily finance and sales, with accurate estimating, analytics, reporting and management for the circulation / distribution of magazines globally.

Accurate and timely review of sales estimates against market data information and data received from outside parties
Quarterly reviews of sales efficiencies, specifically in the US, with a view to making recommendations on supply levels for approval by the relevant Sales Development Managers.
Setting and analysing local selling prices in accordance with Company target margins and Publisher contracts, in conjunction with the Finance Department.
Regular communication of reports, information and promotional briefs to overseas distributors.
Order Management within our transactional systems
Monitor and maintain purchase order system.
Data reporting support for SIL and Finance teams.
Investigating and resolving distributor and freight forwarder queries.
Develop excellent working relationships internally, with overseas distributors & freight forwarders.
Providing cover for the Business Systems Controller to include attendance at Export Management meetings, liaison with the Finance Director, Managing Director, International Director and the wider Senior Management Team.

Required Skills:

Graduate standard with at least one year's experience in a process driven role in a heavily commercial environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good commercial acumen.
Confident using Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
Proven data analysis and data handling skills
Strong numerical skills
Able to manage own time, deal with ad hoc requests and still meet deadlines in a busy department
