At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose - to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities.

We have a new opportunity to join our growing Middle Office Operations team as a Senior Analyst, supporting the Commercial Bank and Group Corporate Treasury businesses.

In this role you'll ensure all trades are booked accurately, both at inception, and on an ongoing basis, which means you'll need to have a strong control mentality and approach to risk management. And a proven track record of identifying control weaknesses and mitigating risks, through enhancing existing controls, or introducing new controls, is essential.

You'll also need to have an understanding of Bond and Derivative products, preferably including knowledge of Structured Notes and Bond, with an ability to interpret Term Sheets to ensure trades are correctly represented in systems. Plus you'll need to be able to work collaboratively and have an ability to form close working relationships, in particular with our Front Office stakeholders.

Technical experience of Summit, Bloomberg TOMS and Markitwire would be preferable, and you'll need to have good understanding of Microsoft packages, with particular focus on Excel.

Markets Operations is a Continuous Improvement environment and you'll be given an opportunity to learn and hone your skills through our Lean Six Sigma programme. An appreciation of Continuous Improvement and a strong change mentality is therefore crucial.

Strong analytical skills are also essential in this role, to monitor trends and behaviours, and to provide appropriate level of challenge where required, as well as collate Management Information to ensure key risks are understood and escalated accordingly. Also essential to succeed in the role is the ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines in a fast paced and busy regulated environment.

In return, as a multi-brand, multi-channel business, we have the scale and breadth to provide you with a diverse range of training and development opportunities, helping you achieve a rewarding and fulfilling career. And earlier this year, Lloyds Banking Group was recognised by LinkedIn as one of the Top 25 companies where people in the UK want to work.

So join us and be part of an inclusive, values-based culture focused on making a difference. Whatever your aspiration, you can also expect excellent benefits, personal development and a career that's enriching and full of opportunity.

Together we make it possible - join us and you'll be part of an organisation that values your contribution and empowers you to make a difference.
